Shannon Larratt 1973-2013

This morning we got the incredible sad news that Shannon Larratt, the biggest icon of the body modification world has passed away.

Shannon Larrett, was a programmer, writer, and artist that you probably know best because of BME, the body modification website he ran from 1994 until mid-2008, where he later came back to about a year or two ago. He also maintained a body modification blog called MODBLOG. Beyond that Shannon Larratt was somebody that brought people and a community together. His contributions to the world of body modification can be felt everywhere, especially in the people that looked up to him, and people he was closest to. He made a real difference and helped others be themselves, and stood up for human rights. If you would like to learn more about Shannon check out his pages Shannon’s Blog: http://www.zentastic.com/blog/about-shannon/ Shannon’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/larratt?fref=ts Also check out Bme’s page in dedication to him: http://news.bme.com/2013/03/15/rip-shannon-larratt-1973-2013/

Thank you for all your inspiration and work! You will be truly missed.
